Lagenandra undulata Sastry

December 2010, T. Idei found Lagenandra undulata probably for the first time after its discovery in 1966 by A.R.K. Sastry at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is the smallest Lagenandra known.
Rapid in a tributary of the Subanseri river in Arunachal Pradesh, India.

L. undulata grows ephiphytic on the rocks togather with various mosses.

L. undulata grows half shaded at an altitude of ca. 1200 m.

The patches of L. undulata are always relative small and confined to the rapids.

The leaves reach up to 20 cm.
